Here the Shopping List for essential, and in the beginning, sufficient material.

The Painting Surface: a painting pad, 30 x 40 should suffice for the start.
Primed, wedge-stressed canvas is, of course, available as well.

A regular Flat Brush, 4 or 5 cm wide for broad area washes.

Acrylic Paint: Titanium White, Ochre (in place of Yellow), Red and Blue.
Plus Bristle Brushes (flat), size 8 and 18

Oil Paint: Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Lemon, Madder Lake Deep, Yellow Ochre,
Green Earth, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna.

Oxhair Brushes (flat), sizes 6, 10, 16, 20.
Possibly also a small round oxhair brush for fine lines or signature.
In addition, a small bottle of poppy-seed oil, needed, however, at a later stage.

One can never have too many brushes.
Start by testing which sizes you are comfortable with.
It is also likely an important colour for you is not mentioned.
Stay away from buying ready-made blends like
"Flesh Colour" or similar.

It is essential to care for your brushes.
Brushes used for acrylic painting should be cleaned with
water and soap (dish detergent, soft or green soap).

Paint Thinner
or a substitute is needed for oil
paint (not to be confused with turpentine oil).
